Soundtracks To Our Lives
Jun 05, 2005, 17:30
Evenin' just back from from a visit to Grimes Graves - (class in a glass) as no one has kicked it off yet here we go with the last week's Soundtrax : -

Little change from last week over all still mainlining on:-

Robert Plant - Mighty Rearranger

and

Porcupine Tree - Deadwing

also featured

Timothy Pure - The Island of Misfit Toys - sound like Dark Matter era Porcupine Tree or Damnation era Opeth

as well as Feeder - Echo Park

and finally was introduced to Ramstein last night - don't ask me what it was called - sounded alrite on first listen -somewhere between the Sisters and the Nephs - got a clutch of CD-R's to explore so more on this next week no doubt.

And thats me

I off to look at me Grimes Graves photos so over to you lot.

All the best

Joolio

Deep Purple-Stockholm 70-Blackmore lets rip with fierce abandon and the best version of Child In Time Ever

Sabbath-Master Of Reality-KOFFKOFFKOFF

Pink Fairies-What A Bunch Of Sweeties-features the tasty licks of Trevor Burton...
and a great cover of 'Walk Don't Run'

Amon Duul II - Tanz Der Lemminge -top tunes

Syd Barret- The Madcap Laughs music for a sunny
afternoon along with the Trojan Dub box set 9 cds of
big bass and curious wibblings, and Harold Budd-the White Arcades, makes me want to go and live in Morocco
chilling out in a big tiled courtyard, with a big hookah pipe in one hand and a nice glass of chilled white wine in the other, in the shade of one of those big fancy fretwork screen thingummies

now all i need is for the summer to start
