I'm a bit worried posting this, but it's what I think; I think! We have ordinary working folk who turn up everyday to manufacture weapons, drones whatever, to earn a living, which we then use on people in countries, that we'll never meet. We don't see the actual physical, emotional or psychological impact of these attacks; we experience it through a screen & a media bias & may feel impassioned enough to argue about it. Most of us can imagine that impact hopefully, but we thank God that it's not happening to us. Some people can't imagine it, or don't care. Some people are living it & would rather risk their lives & their children's lives by escaping it rather than staying. Some people feel fuelled by some righteous belief in a rewards in the afterlife, & differ greatly on the sources of evil, be they Christian, Muslim or whatever. What struck me about Iraq was some sort of Star Wars scenario, where various explosions lit up the night sky. Buildings on fire; interceptors; some sort of devastating fire work display. Very different from the WW1, WW2 footage. The images of the innocent dying where there if you sought them out, but who wants to do that & ruin their weekend. The imbalance regarding Iraqi & coalition casualties is stark. Whatever, however, it hasn't fucking worked has it? As I've said before why do we assume that bombing the shit out of people doesn't leave a legacy? Do we really think we can kill everyone who disagrees with us & do they assume the same? The jihadists want a Holy War, & we're giving it to them. They don't care; they are dying to do it. We kill their children & they hate us for it, as would you & I. We're getting upset now cos it could actually affect us; our neighbours are being blown up; we might actually witness, or ,God forbid experience it in our cities & towns. It's coming home. No longer abstract. Dhaji may say, what are your solutions, what are you doing about it. The reply might be, fuck all,I dont know what to do. Get up, go to work, hug my loved ones, mooch on here & hope they have a future. On a lighter note my local corner shop owner,Aamil, pulled up next to me, at the traffic lights, wound down his window & shouted "how you doing sweetheart" & briefly introduced me to his wife who was sat beside him. Then the lights turned green.

It's been employed here by many members in such a wise. However, i think you should post what you like or feel or want to shout out or rant about. I'll be the last to tell you otherwise. This is an open forum though.....people gonna have their say too.

It's always only waiting in the wings. Bloody hell you could say " we" invented it. The trouble with Trump is that there are ordinary people going around agreeing with the idiot & it's the implanting of ideas that's scary; exactly the same agenda as IS.. the implanting of ideas & beliefs, that is, not the mode of operation. And good I'm glad you don't own a gun. Believe it or not neither do I:)
