If 4bn comes off welfare spending through this measure there are obviously going to be massive reductions to the rates businesses pay in order to 'afford' the 'living wage', or least least not to fall out with the Tories big time over it.
I imagine that will reduce the coffers by far more.
But then again the bill was passed without any of the usual scrutiny or verification and it is ideologically driven.
November will tell I suppose.
But the media build up will be bigger than if England or even Scotland (aye I know I know) were to be in the next word cup final.
Yes I have heard the latest from the little slime bag Blatter.
Another subject tho.
But as you pointed out earlier, the Tories got much of the working class vote, and in Peterborough (a Tory marginal) 76% of workers claim tax credits.
Why oh why that makes them Tory voters who knows but they will be mindful of that.
