Backing independence is one of the ways to push Greener issues, influence a sympathetic Govt in Edinburgh and break down the borders between cultures, peoples, get rid of sectarianism etc.

It's not really a Nationalist Party, despite what others may say. You just have to look at the movement in the North of England who are siding with us. We are for equality and fairness in all ways. Drew it isn't just about the 'green message' surely policies work better the bigger the policies can spread. It only works through mechanisms, one little cog burling away in the corner is just futile, no? I do not think Caroline Lucas is seeking English independence, she knows the only way to make the UK greener is if all of the UK has a single agenda and can be implemented as such. Harvie is another band waggon jumping shyster IMO, and shame on him for it.

On a lighter note though, I didn't expect the SNP Feelgood Factor to work quite so fast ... the alleyway I pass almost everyday which has been filled with disgusting fly-tipped rubbish for literally years has been miraculously cleared today. Pristine, not so much as a crisp packet. PS: For anyone who doesn't know, I live waaay south of the border.

Somehow I don't think sectarianism is a Green issue. It is a scandal and disgrace imo. edit. The only shysters are the people that keep it going.
