Do YOU want there to be a road within yards of Stonehenge next time you visit?
'Course you don't.
Almost everyone agrees there needn't be, quite soon, and that the work could be done quite independently of the long term options.
The National Trust agrees. And Friends of the Earth And loads of other organisations....
But pressure needs to be put on the govt.

Do you ddrive? Have you thrown away your car? Because if more people did that, there'd be no demand for building roads. Anywhere.
Y'know, I've only ever seen stonehenge from the road. Getting closer would've been nice. ;-)
I signed the petition. But, purely because we don't need another road nothing to do with the site.
