My thoughts exactly. If there are a group of powerful people buying and selling weapons that will in many cases be used against unarmed civilian populations (that's just the way of modern warfare it seems), and they are holding their little market in my town, then it seems perfectly sensible for those who place a moral value on human life to show up and express their disapproval.
And if they can disrupt the sale of these weapons for even a short period, then so much the better.
I would have thought that was obvious.

Even if it can't be shut down then protest will bring it to a lot of peoples attention. Not just that but the campaigning leading up to it will bring it to many peoples attention.
I and many others are not prepared to let scum of the earth arms dealers skulk in and out of London for an arms fair without being noticed. And why should they be allowed to go about their business unhindered.
