"The rules of coursing are designed specifically to assist the hare to escape. In an average season, seven out of eight hares coursed escape," said the club's website.

That's alright, then.

Bloke on the news there just answered (when asked if he would continue coursing after the ban) "well, I occaisionally speed when I'm late for the races - this is pretty much the same thing".

Bet he complains about speed cameras. just being there to make his life a misery.
