Just for the record, they are. In fact, they all get shot after 7 years as they are no longer condsidered fit to hunt. Just another sordid aspect to this whole sorry mess.
If it's any consolation, though, Nat, the hunting issue was recently discussed on "Kilroy" and, although I would happily hunt that unctuous bastard to extinction, I was pleased that 87% of those who took part in the phone-in vote were against hunting. And the CA representatives on the programnme tried to make out that the BBC's methodology for collecting votes was unrepresentative!
