Aparently...???!!!!
Was driving up to Avebury from Southampton yesterday and passed some Countryside Alliance signs stating this...
Kinda upset me a little bit. Who are this 59%, 59% or who, what, where???
Stevie and me are planning to make some signs to place 'next' to these (so we can't be arrested for defacing Countryside Alliace Property, even though I wanted to stop the car and rip them up!) and need some catchy slogan... the only one I could come up with was...
41% of the population aren't murdering scum...
Any ideas?
Are these billboard type things across the country? Anything to do with the Conservative Party Conference??

Perhaps the 'us' in the quotes is the Countryside Alliance. Mind you, they're in a dodgy state if only 59% of the CA are in favour of hunting.

I love those CA signs with the 2 pictures of the woman, one in full hunting gear (caption: "NOW THEY HATE HER"), and one in a nurse's uniform (caption: "NOW THEY DON'T").
Yeah, and...?! If she didn't ever get her bloody hunting gear on, we wouldn't hate her at all! DUH!

I read the small print on the back of a range-rover (honestly)
The figure is based upon one survey in one right wing tabloid.
I suppose other less favourable surveys aren't used for bumper stickers. They do have an agenda to promote, after all.

Thanks for that!! Been out of circulation for a wee bit, so haven't seen any of these posters! Was a suprise to see them on the side of the road to be honest with you....
Might have known it was from a survey in a tabloid! :o)

I noticed lots of them posters on a recent trip to the Cotswolds.
I wondered where they got the 59% from, too.
Had to 'liberate' a couple of them on the approaches to Belas Knap.
