This is fantastic advice, babe, and I shall heed every word of it. (Especially the bit about buying the OS Explorer 180)

Happy to tell you that my trepidation at trespassing on land which I know is frequently used by Expensive People with rifles hunting deer urged me to call Cornbury Park and get permission. Which i got.

There are also some tumuli at the north east end of Cornbury park which I might have a glance at....
