I would think there is every chance of a further series or two...on BBC1 maybe?

I thought from the moment she came into it that Sophie was a spy or double agent of some kind.. I think she is working for the antiquisearchers!

Really like the character of Lance, classic.

Great TV.

Great final episode last night.

Looks like it's going to be back for another series, which I suppose is good news, but sometimes I wonder if stuff like this should be left at just the one. It was such a beautifully written story and the acting/casting so spot on it would be a shame if it was diluted in any way.

I want a Danebury metal detecting club fleece :)

Pure gold!
I can see three series' until they finally hit the jackpot. Agree about the casting. Instantly slotted in with each other and it's like we'd known them for years. Bring it on! BBC 1 do you think?

Warmed to it, and another series totally deserved. I hope they dont try to jazz it up. Roll on Oct '15.

But here's the crucial question: take away the detectors and could it be re-named "TMAers"?

;)

If the Open Mic night at the White Horse was anything to go by - it reminded me a lot of the Avebury Open Mics from a few years back - I would say so ... substitute the rivalry that goes on in the world of amateur (and professional) archaeology then - yes, TMAers would suit. It does have its moments of pathos.

Astral and me will come and play a tune or 2 with you doing backing vocals :-)

Loved it and would welcome more.

It was also beautifully shot.

The BBC has it's faults, but it does plenty of good things and this is one of them.
