Have you ever noticed the smallish concrete slab in the ground outside the rear exit of the fogou at Carn Euny Goff?

As you are into Cornish wells (and Alken?), email me (addy in my profile) as I have something you may be interested in and possibly not know about.

Ooh, I like a good mystery! OK - you've piqued my interest - will email soon! :)

And no - I've only visited Carn Euny's well once, and it was so muddy I didn't feel inclined to stay long... But now you've mentioned this I'll definitely go back and have a nose! Thank you!

I just love that HUGE rock over the well with the tree growing on the top of it and its roots running down the stone into the earth. That's determination for you :-)
I go to Carn Euny quite a lot as aside from my own visits I go with a tour company as a guest but have never encountered mud there. Lucky me!!

I'll await your email. It's my Yahoo addy. You won't be disappointed.
