Have you ever noticed the smallish concrete slab in the ground outside the rear exit of the fogou at Carn Euny Goff? If you haven't, next time you are visiting, lift it up and you'll see a water supply there direct from the well under that gert great rock with the tree on it just over the boundary I assume!! It's been lined in modern times but I've not put my hand in it (just in case I find a stop-cock to shatter the illusion!!)
