BRAC anyone recognise this RA? Location?

Does anyone recognise this fella and can anyone help identify the location of the RA? The BRAC entry only gives the intriguing clue of "Tarbolton"...

I grew up in Ayrshire and know the Tarbolton area well. There isn't really a river at Tarbolton, the Water of Fail is close by and the River Ayr is a mile or so away to the South of Tarbolton at Stair. Ballochmyle Walls is a few miles further upstream...
Has this mibbe been mislabelled when the new BRAC was being assembled? Or have I been missing this little fella all these years? Anyone help?
