When we were campaigning against the building of the M60 motorway through a local beauty spot, a pony adopted those in the camp and became partial to the veggie curries...... and spent many nights curled up next to the camp fire.......

As in man bites dog?

I'm a woman, and a rambler - can't say I've heard of one of us killing a cow (except by proxy in the supermarket). Quite like cows as it happens, though usually preoccupied looking at wild flowers etc. ;o)

Wild flowers killing cows, now that would be something :-)

That can happen, many wild flowers are poisonous - I read somewhere that buttercups are poisonous to cattle. Ragwort is very poisonous to horses.

Mind you, a sheep once ate my wife's Milky Way on the top of Honister Pass.

Is that code?

I can believe that, Blossom. I've met a few cheeky sheep in my time, me.

Best leave it at that - I'm not sure I want to know what happened after lights-out Tom.
