PS: Just heard back from Jean Saunders of the Save Coate Campaign

We've tried extremely hard to get the National Trust to take a stand on the Save Coate issue - they said that they would do what they can, but they haven't done anything. We haven't contacted Simon Jenkins direct. You tend to lose heart after a while ...
