Thinking of it still... More notable than the sun, because of the dramatic contrast to its usual appearance and the additional, highish probability of an eclipse. Bleeding and about to be consumed, if you were to (imaginatively) anthropomorphise it. Ya, why not? More likely than, as you say, lunar limits, more verifiable than astral.

What I meant, except I got my figures the wrong way around, was the equinoctial sun after rising and moving 5 degrees south. I know, what would be the point of that? Just looking for an alternative possibility ;)
