Hi While doing a bit of megalithic Christmas shopping (for myslef!) I came across some decent prints of megalithic sites and artists reconstructions available to buy on the link below. I've already ordered one and as I'd been after something like this for a while thought I'd post it here. In case anyone else had been looking for a decent pic for their living room who didn't have the first clue about photography and couldn't frame one of their own snaps. http://www.englishheritageprints.com/prints-4058/heritage-of-england-gallery.html Apologies, not really a forum topic I know All the best Gwass

There's a thread called Megalithic Art, some of the art is available as prints. Ninestane Rig gold ring for xmas would be nice, but dropping hints aside, I'm probably going to end up buy it for myself.... http://www.thecelticgoldsmith.com/pages/frame.html?home=ninestane.html

It's a nice ring, but surely having lunar associations, it should be in silver rather than gold?

This came through as a link the other day, the Bluestone Gallery in Devizes, there's some photos in this gallery... http://www.bluestonegallery.com/products/Photography-C6/ The link was for Silbury painted on silk material, which you can click on elsewhere in the website....

Cheers for the info These are good snaps But I was really looking for some artist reconstructions, like the drawings of Avebury at 4, 3 then 2000bc showing activity with smoke rising from settlements and rituals being practiced etc in the cafe next to the visitor centre. There's loads in the books I have but I've googled the artists and nowt comes up, guess it's a long shot so I may have to commission an artist to do one

These used to be for sale in the Great Barn next to the cafe Gwass. The Hengeshop in Avebury has a few facsimiles of Stukeley's drawings of Avebury, including his large 1724 Groundplot of the Henge.

Hi Gwass My mate takes a pretty impressive snap, and has some for sale. His website currently shows his latest exhibition, which I hope to get along to in the next few weeks. http://www.milouvision.com/ There's a lot of Megalithia in there, among many other topics. Actually, just looking through those again I've seen a load I've not previously seen! Look at this one! http://www.milouvision.com/archives/4159_1048088568/306064 Thoroughly nice chap as well. :) G x
