Littlestone wrote: Avebury - Graphic Novel A short novel about the mysterious village of Avebury by Tom Manning. “This is a university project that was given out in order to induct us into the second year of the Illustration course. The theme of the project was that it should be based in the strange village of Avebury, north of Stonehenge, UK.” Still at the cliff-hanger stage, but of possible interest to lovers of graphic novels and manga. The second episode of this nicely illustrated graphic novel by Tom Manning is now online.

Great. Jon Wozencroft is a rather top graphic designer who did stuff on the periphery of Factory Records, so that presses plenty of my buttons. The Touch label that he founded releases great CDs by Chris Watson, who used to be in Cabaret Voltaire but is now better known for appearing on various BBC Wildlife programmes as the sound recordist. His CDs are mostly recordings of storms and such like. Sorry, I drifted off into Unsung territory there... http://www.touchmusic.org.uk/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Watson_(musician)

Rhiannon wrote: http://www.landscape-perception.com/ Don't think this has been mentioned? It's an RCA project about Preseli and Avebury by Jon Wozencroft and Paul Devereaux - 'an archive of sounds and sights' I think this brilliant project deserves a 'thread' to itself. The Avebury section includes the Silbury sun roll, a great piece of work over 2009/2010 by Steve Marshall, Pete Glastonbury and George Currie. http://www.landscape-perception.com/visual_investigations/

TEN FACTS ABOUT THE NEOLITHIC including the fact that, “It is now widely agreed among archaeologists (with a specific interest in Neolithic root vegetable subsistence strategies) that celeriac is arguably the scariest looking vegetable on the planet.”

heritagelandscapecreativity “...is a personal blog for Gavin MacGregor. I am an archaeologist who is interested in the ways in which the past is brought into being by what we do in the present and how that might create different futures. Its a place for me to share ideas and links to issue relating to how the pastness of landscapes still inspire us. Some of the things which intrigue me and I want to explore here are: What are the different living relationships between past, present and future, how do they tangle together in landscapes. Different ways in which people respond creatively to the past, where are there interesting, innovative and inspiring artistic practices in landscapes.”
