Hello

Sadly I won't be able to make it because I won't be in the area until Friday, which is 31st July. The walk is on Wednesday 29th and is 2 days before we arrive. Such a shame! I'm sure we'll find plenty to do. There is a tourist information office in Avebury, isn't there? Yes, I'm sure there is. That would be my first port of call.

Hi Colin

How about this?

http://bit.ly/P7jPp

I can guarantee a really nice day for all the family, with lots of really lovely people who know tons of stuff about Avebury and many, many other stoney places!

Hello Goffick

That sounds like a nice day out!! I will ask my wife and see what she thinks. I'm sure she'll be game. When you say "all the family", will there be other children there?

Hi again, Colin

Yeah it IS a nice day out! I can't stress enough what a nice bunch of people usually turn up to these things! It'll be nice to meet you and your family.

And yes - there will indeed be other children there. :)

Hi Martin!

I didn't go in the end, but it sounds like it would have been fun.

Any chance you can make it for the Megameet on 1st August? It's been ages since we last met up! And I really must get around to replying to your email(s) soon - I'm terrible, aren't I? :)

Hope everything is good with you - will email tomorrow.
