Just in case they do use the footage:

It has to be broadcast first.

Whilst no fan of Trinny and her chum or tv in general it looks like I'm on me own in thinking the final effect was quite funny , not good messing up a nice hillside with 17 th C hill figure though .

Nah G, made me laugh, even more so when they drafted blokes in. Should have got permission to do whatever though.

No mention of sticks in the ground or wet muddy bootmarks. And notably no response by the TV company to the accusation of a sacred site being desecrated. They pick the easy question to answer and ignore the other.

And I got banned from the ITV message board. Dunno if it was my username [Bints-r-us] or the way I expressed myself, but I suspect it was a combination of the two ;)

I saw it. It was a great posting, vintage stuff.

I do think there's a case for criticising T and S and the TV company's current stance as much as what they have done. An apology and an admission of a mistake would be good - and a decision to scrap the footage to avoid copycatting elsewhere. Seems like they just can't possibly be wrong according to them.

"Ban the footage" would be a good continuing call else the thing will settle down and they'll have got away with it.
