Leavig aside the fact that you seem to have relapsed into snidey mode, can I just ask which verified cup marks you use as a yardstick to judge the things you claim to be prehistoric carvings?

'Cos what Rich says is very true, I can think of a few bits and bobs that have been listed as the real deal, but of which I'm a tad sceptical. Bearing in mind that there are still those out there who adamantly maintain all RA is the result of natural processes, it seems imperative that those of us who strive to separate the objective from the subjective should have a baseline from which to measure the likelihood that the things we find are both artificial and prehistoric.

Or must I adopt the voice of Donald Stott?
