I've read a fair bit on the subject, but it tends to fall into very separate camps - you get the architechtural/technical standpoint and the historical/mythological/religious bent - the beauty of the MA is that it brings it all together without the Burl-esque scientific dryness, but with the wonder and excitement that Cope captures.
Is Burls work generally available, or are we looking at antiquarian bookshop prices?
