Don't worry Dan, it was an attempt to mess with your head that backfired thankfully. Glad to see you are still here.

K this is gonna be a quick post........ Thanks for the confirmations that this place is a place of discussion not childish arguments. The other photos I took were posted on a games forum I have regualarly posted on since about 6 years ago. http://forums.raven-games.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27164 I will caption the "candle Photo" to reflect the opinions held by some of you on this site later today:-)

The moon stone photo is wicked and now my wallpaper. Thanks! (now, why don't you set SBP on the person a couple of posts down on your games forum that has admitted to taking a pebble from Avebury? I reckon she and the DragonQueen 'Perpetrator of Evil Chemistry' will have a lot in common!!) ;-D

Thanks for the reassurance,Moth.I had looked at various forums before, and read with interest, it was only when I saw the way the thread was going on this one I was moved to join in. I hope to join in with others in the future, which hopefully won't get so heated. Let's hope common sense prevails. Peace Lubin

I actually think one of the stregths of this site is the light touch of the moderator and the true open forum it creates. It can get a bit worrying at times but fortunately that's not very often. There is a welcome diversity of views here - even those of us in Heritage Action can have differing views about aspects of preservation and it is often only through open discussion that bonds of respect can be built (or not).
