Speaking as a physicist (who sounds like he knows his stuff), would you say there's anything to that "tectonic strain generates earth lights" theory then?

Or if not lights, then e.m. fields maybe?

Iv'e never been able to totally get my head round the stats used, but have always wanted to believe Paul Deveraux's idea that many megalithic monuments are located near fault lines, and that this may relate to piezo-electricity.
