Appliance - Reconditioned 3CD/ Imperial Metric
Early EP's, radio Sessions and out-takes galore on the Re-Conditioned 3 CD comp. The tracks do sound different to the 'official' versions too, which is always good.

Can - Future Days
Never gets old.

Cauldron - Fifty Foot Hose
This album is nuts, in the same way Brainticket - Cottonwood Hill is nuts, or White Noise - An Electric Storm. I'm ashamed to say I only recently came across it and love it to bits. In case you fancy a listen https://fiftyfoothose.bandcamp.com/album/cauldron

Nurse With Wound - Chromanatron
How to edit and make the band Sand sound not like Sand (in a good way).

B- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW_W7FXGBmw

Cabaret Voltaire - 2X45/ Red Mecca
Red Mecca was my intro to the Cabs. Landslide is still amongst my fav tracks by them. Landslide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_1rxkDPyb8

Julie's Haircut - Our Secret Ceremony

Alan Vega - After Dark

Arthur Brown/Kingdom Come - Journey/Galactic Earth Dossier
Does Arthur Brown have the most 'Rock' voice of all time....you bet! Dug out their performace on the Glastonbury Fayre film. God, if you were off your tits watching this performance, it would be terrifying. HEAVY! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IivivoOkrec They look like a buch of Hammer Horror extras. Did they invent the feckin' Insane Clown Posse?

Various - Sub Pop - Infecting the Galaxy.....
Decent varied label sampler CD when labels used to knock out such things fer a few quid. Sampler ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Giev1fIalCk&list=PLkdDljfjUhwcbEW2bQTMvcAZfqLk87jO1

Various - Rough trade R n R Vol:1 (2CD)
Still waiting fer vol 2. This is a great comp, not a duffer on it, I must have bought about 5 copies over the years for various friends and family members. Still to be had used fer just a few of yer sheckles should you want a copy.

Annie Anxiety Bandez/Little Annie - Jackamo/Short, Sweet and Dread EP
Annie Anxiety is an artist I feel is much overlooked. Much of her 80's/early 90's stuff is still worth digging out. She worked quite a bit with On 'U' Sound, a label that was quite dear to my heart in the 80's, what with Tackhead, Dub Syndicate, African Head Charge, Singers and Players and those wonderful Pay It All Back compilations, with the ever present Adrian Sherwood at the controls. One of my faves... https://payitallback.bandcamp.com/track/prince-far-i-w-singers-players-water-the-garden

The Soundcarriers - Celeste

Camera - Prosthuman
Chords4/Kurz Vor is my new jam. https://camerawithin.bandcamp.com/album/prosthuman

Edward Ka-Spel - Prints of Darkness
Had this a while, first listen, and I'm enjoying it immensely. Don't know if these tracks were recorded earlier in his career or not, but he sounds so feckin' young. https://edwardka-spel.bandcamp.com/album/prints-of-darkness

Maserati - Inventions for the New Season
Never heard of these fellas before, god awful name, bit nice strung out guitar chugings and noises. https://maserati.bandcamp.com/album/inventions-for-the-new-season-anniversary-edition

Massive Attack - Heligoland

DNA - DNA on DNA
Ugly music for ugly times. I do enjoy DNA, mostly for Arto Lindsays' contributions, but I'd be hard pushed to say it was a totally enjoyable experience over an album length. Hell, even SWANS - Cop comes off as sweetness and light compaired to this.

Not sure about all this Bowie crate scraping malarkey now he's not around.
Toy is about to be released, which isn't from his peak period it has to be said. But have you seen the feckin' cover! I can't imagine in a million years that the good man would sign off on something so ugly and unimaginative (best not mention Reality eh? An album I own, but I can't think of the last time I gave it a spin....may have to look it out next week). Anyhow, needless to say, I probably won't be forking for it.

Have a good week everyone.
