Michael Nesmith - The Wichita Train Whistle Sings (was always rather baffled by this all-instrumental big band meets rock album, but Nez's remixed and re-sequenced version released on CD a few years ago fixes some of the problems with the original vinyl version and it is now genuinely powerful in places. Found myself loving a lot of it for the first time)
