Great dub-inflected, post-punkish, minimal electro sound, very good album: https://anika.bandcamp.com/album/change Vanishing Twin – Ookii Gekkou. Fans of Broadcast, go here immediately. Less knowingly quirky than their last album, and all the better for it, some serious retro-futuristic grooves: https://v-twin.bandcamp.com/album/ookii-gekkou Matt Berry – Witchazel / Kill The Wolf. Never heard these before, having been unable to get past the “actor does music” thing. But more fool me etc, they’re charming exercises in 60s meets 70s pop via the psych/folk/prog byways and genuinely great in places. Cheers for the Anika heads up, big fan of the first album/EP. Think it was with various Portishead peeps (well Geoff Barrow and on his label). Think she's a member of another outfit you like Exploded View. It's been s long since that initial release I thought she'd given up. Remember not really digging Vanishing Twin's earlier efforts, but if they've reined it in a bit that sounds bang up me street. Lot of time for Matt Berry. He does what he does rather well, don't think I've heard a duffer by him tbh.

No prob, I think that Anika album is really good, a real consistency of sound and vision - and yes, even Bowie-esque in places ;-) Yes, think the VT album is much more agreeable than the last one, even though that had its moments
