Colour me intrigued! The new issue of Uncut (Nirvana cover) has a full page ad for Cargo Records including a teeny promo for ‘Julian Cope & The Teardrop Explodes: Cold War Psychedelia’ (Head Heritage LP).
Details: ‘Exhilarating! Dynamic! 1982 music from the death throes of Liverpool’s maddest band. Also, 1989 Head-On reflections in spoken word and breath-taking post-punk sound collage. Clad in appropriately intriguing packaging? U-betcha!’
Anyone know any more (specific!) details?

Pre-ordered from Piccadilly Records. Seems odd that it's appeared in a few national independent record shops but no mention here (obviously no Address Drudion but still, there's the Head Guide).
Am wondering, given the time of year and the very limited/exclusive nature of it, whether it was a planned RSD release but missed some kind of deadline or something.
