Colour me intrigued! The new issue of Uncut (Nirvana cover) has a full page ad for Cargo Records including a teeny promo for ‘Julian Cope & The Teardrop Explodes: Cold War Psychedelia’ (Head Heritage LP).
Details: ‘Exhilarating! Dynamic! 1982 music from the death throes of Liverpool’s maddest band. Also, 1989 Head-On reflections in spoken word and breath-taking post-punk sound collage. Clad in appropriately intriguing packaging? U-betcha!’
Anyone know any more (specific!) details?

Wouldn’t be surprised if this was a vinyl re-issue of Cope’s Notes #1 but then I could be wrong. Will have to do some delving

Happy to be proved wrong. Sounds great. The Teardrop archives are the gifts that keep on giving. I thought we’d have heard everything at this stage. Liverpool’s maddest band, maybe. But most likely the Liverpool band with the highest work ethic!
