All my set up is old school. I've been trying to rip to mp3 some bits but no luck, I think I need a different lead, after much swearing at Audacity!

Thanks, I'll take a look at that one too! I think the main reason I have been looking at new ones is because of the USB connection and my lack of patience regarding anything I have to plug in!

My current player is the Sony PS-LX56, which is very basic and was part of a midi system about 20 odd years ago. It needs a replacement.
