This thought came into my head today for the umpteenth time:

Was The Fall's "Eat Y'self Fitter" in any way connected with the provenance of your screen name, Hatfield & The North's "Fitter Stoke Has A Bath"? And its A-side, as you know, has the verb "Eat" in the title.
Oh, I know it's not terribly important but I've had that association flaoting around un-tethered in my head for decades. If you don't know, absolutely no problem. But if you do, it would make my day!
