Mercury Rev - Bobbie Gentry’s The Delta Sweete Revisited (This wasn't quite the track-by-track re-imagining it was meant to be, as Louisiana Man was missing and a version of Ode To Billie Joe was spuriously tacked on the end. But now they've released a version of that missing track, very nicely sung by Erika Wennerstrom. Restoring this song to its rightful place and removing the gaps between the tracks to make it a proper 'sweete' makes for a much more satisfying listen).
