Shooting Guns – Nosferatu Live Score. What it says on the tin, 90 mins of live music designed to accompany a showing of the silent vampire classic. Nice, but doesn’t really survive the transition from soundtrack to album in its own right. https://shootingguns.bandcamp.com/album/nosferatu-live-score

VA – Creeping Cinquefoil. Fifth anniversary retrospective from the Buried Treasure label. Hadn’t really heard any of their stuff before (other than The Delaware Road tie-in compilation), and much of it is, as their name suggests, re-discovered library music – some excellent examples herein, such as: https://buriedtreasure.bandcamp.com/track/tribal-warfare-2 However, they also release new, library-influenced stuff too. Cool track featuring Alan Moore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvLWWG6BA-w

Electric Retro Spectrum – Sub-Urban

Adam Stone & Dead Sea Apes – Warheads

XXL – Puff O’Gigio

Alison Cotton – All Is Quiet At The Ancient Theatre

You Tell Me – s/t

Maarja Nuut & Ruum – Muunduja

Gabor Szabo – Dreams. This and the Nuut were indeed soundtracks to my dreams, as I dozed off during both. However, that shouldn’t be construed as a criticism, more a reflection on my advancing years!

VA – To The Outside Of Everything. Had this post-punk boxset sitting around for a while without playing it. Only got to halfway through CD 2 so far, but it is packed with brilliant tracks from bands who could barely play to proggers in disguise. CD 1, track 1, a hell of a start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l1OX4EnGfU
