Or go right back, all the way to the jazzier/krautier Organization album 'Tone Float'. Sounds nothing like later 'classic' Kraftwerk, but worth a listen. Full Album - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-wNx-6mMkU I'd go for anything post Autobahn and pre Electric Cafe (though there are a couple lovers of it on HH as I recall). Trans Europe Express, Radioactivity, Man Machine and Computer World are all excellent. My personal fav is still the proto techno of Computer World. TEE - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P99mWPOIuHI Radioactivity - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_8wo5XNjjQ Man Machine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcUmwLQACFY Computer World - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o1pOGc-zS0 Electric Cafe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgSGt1zP2sE

Pebbles Trash Box - 5 CD's of lo-fi garage rawk... Nice 'sister' comp to the Nuggets/Rhino extended box set. A little cross over, but not too much. vinyl vol 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waWfv_Zs4pQ&list=PLeAg3HyZN7hcpI_B5uqvxv-3FRu_wWVpV Vinyl vol 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOq287nDRyk&list=PLeAg3HyZN7hdwNKLV0ccGmhMTbirTnAoS Colder - Again Nice post punk/ digi dub vibings from early 2000's Crazy Love - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4kzcdAMPDA Big Youth - Dread Locks Dread Lightning Flash - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzdxZzf5q3g Dead Weather - Horehound Prob my fav' post White Stripes Jack White ensemble, and the first (for me) is still the best Album - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WmzdiQ4HQs Chrome Hoof - Pre Emptive False Rapture Just luuurrve this space disco thrash prog monster. Moss Covered Obelisk - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XU7xG4Qp7sQ Spokes Of Uridium - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCBgKWuabrc The Very Best Of The Doors - 40th Anniversary mixes 2CD. Picked this up cheap, not an aficionado of the Doors, but some mixes deffo sound rawer (which for me is a good thing). Riders (40th) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wbx6gULYNbc Super Furry Animals - Fuzzy Logic Always my fav SFA record, closely followed by Radiator. Did they pre-empt the alt folk revival with 'Gathering Moss'? Probably not but still love it. I thought the Trash Box was a screw up, they appear to have turned up the treble to uncomfortable position. & sound quality isn't great. I bought it years ago and haven't listened to it much since. There were Pebbles cds that cover the same material with better sound. I think The Trash box pretty much corresponds to the first few volumes of the Pebbles series in terms of tracklisting, though maybe not in the same order. Anyway, I found it a major disappointment. It's the 5 CD box set version I have. Like yourself, not heard it in an age. I get what you're saying about the treble boost, but if you think of how many of these tracks would have been recorded, I don't think the sound is too bad overall. I almost prefer it to the Nuggets Box, as a lot of the tracks are from the grottier side of the trax, shall we say. I love the way about 60% (slight exaggeration)seem to be based on Paul Reveres version of Stepping Stone in various ways. NOBODY'S CHILDREN - Good Times https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQMP8OPVRhI

Monganaut, thesweetcheat, cheers ! I found Kraftwerk 1 and 2 on youtube and quite enjoyed them, not knowing much about the band Im puzzled why they seem to have disowned them as I think they're pretty cool, and cheers for the heads up , I've got more investigation to do :)
