Thanks for heads up - that will do me nicely. I miseed the recent ones as I was in Italia.
Not sure if going by Car or train yet but if I'm driving you are welcome to a lift Squid. (Er, in my non-smoking naff noisy squealing car - its an appealing offer, isn't it?!).

There are some lovely Art Deco hotels out by the airfield (Croydon was quite an important airport or something pre-war). Dunno what they cost or how close they are to the venue. I'm sure that helps a lot.

cheers, that's v.kind NNN 8-) I haven't worked out if I'm going yet (very disorganised at the moment for various reasons), but if I do go I'll try to get in touch. not sure if I'll be able to handle a non-smoking car, but I suppose the same applies to trains! as for the noisy squealing, that'll be me with nicotine withdrawal!
