Same here. But for the first listen, I reckon at least a few tokes help to get you on the wavelength they were obviously on when they recorded it.
I also agree with singingringingtree that "Psychedelic Underground" is a fantastic and under-rated percussive rave-up that I don't understand the non-inclusion of in JC's Top 50. Reminds me of a much more ramshackle and lo-fi version of some of the more recent Boredoms stuff...
