... or indeed with Dali's Car ... which was actually one that used to belong to Al Capone!

I remember the Winkies fairly fondly as one of those bands who predated punk by a couple of years and were a bit too glam for pub rock. They were playing the pub circuit in 74. Then in 77 I saw Phil Rambow play a gig with Mick Ronson at the Nashville in West Kensington. As if seeing Mick Ronson wasn’t memorable enough I recall a young woman joining them onstage, taking off her clothes and rubbing herself against Phil and Mick who tried to ignore her. I’ve got a single by Phil Rambow called “Fallen” which is quite good. He was Canadian. I guess he still is.

Ah ! Just as I remember it ( apart form the colours) Can't imagine why the cover made such an impression ??!! ( Although a friend at the weekend told me that all straight men suffer from penis envy ) Wish I'd bought it at the time but probably got the new ELP or something. Tosser.

Another off-topic essay writing scammer, this time hanging off a 14 year old post. It’s getting beyond a joke now innit?
