Never heard of them before! Are they good, bad or indifferent?

Wasn't saying anything bad about either. I've heard Horslips and they're OK, but not enough to buy their CD re-issues...

Ahhh! Rotary Connection!!! Now that you've mentioned them... I have the second album and the 'covers' album. Supper-club soul gone wrong! (And I'm saying it's great, of course...)

o.k so I have to stand all on my own in this spunkmire. off the top of my head i'm gonna join in this week just so i don't let the side down. Honestly where did all the girls go, what did you do to em. Anyway... Kim fowley-outrageous, bad day at work and kimmy fixed it a treat. infeciously stinky grooves. The stooges- rubber legs, crappy sound but gotta have for cock in my pocket. Had a lil Blondie fest, plastic letters (my fave), autoamerican, eat to the beat. forgot how wussy auto is especially compared to the other 2. Motorhead-motorhead my 7year old pals loves it, we had a mosh. Still making my mind up, newish purchase. VGG- the quiet zone, is what is says, gotta be in the mood. Stranglers-no more heros, just to console myself after seeing them being utterly shite without hugh last week. sir lord baltimore -both, need i say. sabbath-sabbotage, see above. Curved air-live, no one ver mentions them on here, guess it's cos theress a girl in the band haha. I love em "don't call the policeman" Axx

Good Grief! It must be nearly 20 years since I heard them. Must go find some. Sort of folky bluesy proggy stuff if I remember rightly. Anyway, Mrs Ahab, thank you for venturing out of the kitchen and into the world of popular electronics magazines and oo guage railway enthusiasts.

I've always had a soft spot for the trippy "Melinda, more or less"
