Yup. I think I'd go along with pretty much all of that. I've not heard Shaken & Stirred, though.

Percy popped up at a few local small scale festivals, in recent weeks. I've heard rumours via mates, that he's been jamming with some local folkie outfit. He works constantly. He also did some recording with Jah Wobble a few months back. I don't know whether anything will be released from it, but to have those two in a room, together... well, a dream team.

Just got through reading this...

Hey man!

This thread might be the most awesome, about anything, anywhere..!

You're so on the one about the Muse/Music on top of it all!

And the inspired notions about life's 'nature' on this thread, et al... Woah!!

'Zeppelin' touched/touch so many aspects...

And yeah, I have to say, they has fundamentally affected me as well. From aiding and abetting (yeah, me three..) at gettin' my teenage mojo a workin'. To opening me up ways to new levels of heightened sensibilities and possibilities (and certainly not only musically..)! And the process continues...

And I think that their genius comes from not being perfectly technically competent, though they obviously are more than capable, or such... But from the ability to throw themselves into the process head on, as a one communicative 'whole'. They actually might be one of the most punk bands ever..!

Got the Coda 3lp set few days ago, now probably my fave Zeppelin album, especially with the bonuses, together with III and Presence... The latter which opened up to completely new heights yesterday! And then that was toppled by, what else but, a motherfucking lighting and thunder extravaganza that lasted for more than an hour..!!

To Be A Rock, Au Naturel!

Joolio!

Whey-hey-hey! What's shakin', my Geordie brother in Zep Jimi & The Deep Creams?

The Zep Juggernaut continues in my world as LED ZEPPELIN III is currently blasting through my cans, into my ears (female organs, dontcha know), into my brain, and released as light through the top of my head!

That's a complete paraphrase of that one scene in "Rock Follies" I saw half a lifetime ago where some guy got some British lady stoned and was playing her Zep on the headphones...wotta operator, eh?

Hey Seth. Not listened to Zeppelin in a while though been collecting the remastered versions. Been mainlining Bert Jansch lately discovered via Pagey and thru Jansch Jackson C Frank Blues Run The Game is stunning. New Frank collection out this month. Continuing the folky vibe just snaffled the new Fotheringhay box set. I see they are on tour in the New Year 3/5ths of the original line up.

Koons is Koons but he is actually not at all bad in the role of tv host.
Lots of good solid chat from Page over the course of an hour plus.
