Re: Getting back on topic
Sep 12, 2006, 10:06
I've visited a fair few places over the last six months or so, in the Southwest and in Cumbria. the only sites that have affected me are the Whispering Knights and the Hawkstone.

Having grown up around the Rollrights, I've always loved the whole site, but it's the Knights I always spend the most time at and I always get a feeling that's very difficult to explain. It's definitely a feeling of well being, but something else too, I can't explain it but ithe air goes still for me there. I'll sound like a crackpot if I try to carry on trying to explain it!

I've also experienced this feeling at the Hawkstone. I don't know if it's the astheticness of the area, or me picking up an energy or just my loyalty to Oxfordshire sites but I've not encountered that feeling anywhere else. Just my enthusiasm!
