It never cease to amaze me how much like politicians people have become in their ludicrous selectivity of quotes and info: e.g. -

"any perspective is just that a perspective....not the whole show!"

Makes a lotta sense and causes a natural "hmmm...yeah, true."

And then: "It reminds me of the old story of blind men feeling a elephant and each having a different picture."

Very good analogy to a variety of things and for me gets a good pat-on-the-back. It'd be nice to waffle such things over a pint or a walk in the hills.

But then we have thus: "It allso reminds me of the qoute ' thou prosteth to much'"

...to which there's the obvious slap to people who think too much of both themselves and their opinions (believers and egocentrics on the whole). And to which a thread spins off on it's own, disregarding the two previous very good points. Is this a forum of retards sometimes?
