Seconded. He's a very versatile actor, and it doesn't sugarcoat the original book's anti-poverty message either.

The Responder, on BBCTV.
Great story, direction and performances, all round. Makes all those supposed gritty Jed Mercurio dramas look like poorly paced rubbish. And I'm particularly liking the soundtrack.
