I think he realized it quite a long time ago (e.g. http://www.headheritage.co.uk/wsym/mp3s/heed.mp3
), but he still likes exhuming its past as well (e.g. Brain Donor). Anyway, most electronic music these days seems to be paying homage to the past rather than looking to the future, all those deliriously naff tracks on MTV and Kiss are enough to make me pick up a guitar.
