Now let me see. In the 90s we had post acid house electronic and dance culture. Then we had those who did not embrace anything new and were happy to retreat back into what their parents listened to. We had Brit pop which was like reheated left overs of 60s music. Brit poppers in The 90s were the first generation since the second world war to be into what their parents were into. Without any of the social changes of the 60s, it was just repackaged retro nostalgia.
