This is a pretty cool list, Mr T. You prompted me to dig out the old Donna Summer 12" 'I Feel Love'. Man, I'm moving, now! "I was a male stipper in a go-go bar! I was a male stripper in a go-go bar!" New Yawk, New Yawk, I'm hitting your dancefloor soon! Buzzcocks, 'Heroes', and UB40. I remember Peel playing them in session before the Graduate 7". Thought they were way cool, back then. 'I Think It's Going To Rain' is my fave! Great tunes!

I actually like that Midge Ure song! Picked it up in a charity shop one time. Very emotional, but basically crap. You have an impressive ear for the awful; I never would have thought of mentioning Hoddle and Waddles' Diamond lights. Well done

You are Alan Partridge, aren't you? Do I win a mini plastic beefeater? Where is the Chris Rea track though? Or are you saving him and de Burgh for side 2? Classic Queen!

"Where is the Chris Rea track though? Or are you saving him and de Burgh for side 2?" They would make a welcome addition to side 2. I can't believe I left off 'We close our eyes' by Go West on side 1. That should really be the opener.

Ta very much Howden. I'm not sure how I would feel after playing all this lot in one go; emotionally wrung out, I would think. I've always loved Signing Off by UB40. The Earth Dies Screaming came on a bonus 12", I seem to remember...
