Not sure if You're familiar with Hawkwind track 'Hurry on Sundown', not my fav Hawkwind track by a long straw, but Moon Duo did a version that is one on my top ten cover versions. They deffo turned it into a Suicide track whilst also beng totally their own take on things.

Wow. I've not heard this before, thanks. I've always had soft spot for that track, too.
I love it when people make tracks their own and they certainly did that - it's barely recognisable isn't it. And as you say, it has Suicide / Vega influence all over it.


I could be wrong but this track by Insect Trust predates Hawkwind and I always thought it was an original Hawkwind composition.
