Interesting that 131 stuff is still slowly trickling out, nearly two years after the book. I admit that Judge Barry Hertzog wasn't one of my favorites among those "bands," but I'll probably be checking out that one, as well. Thanks for the heads up.

131 was a soundtrack. A good one too.

Apparently Dope will be released in transluscent green trippple gatefold sleeve, and a funk psych thang. One hopes so, in April, when things grow.

The lord needs funk, and the lord shall have funk!

"Everything Playing At Once" is quite funky.

I've enjoyed the variety of sounds from these fictional bands. Check out Urthona Plays Atlantis? (link on the other thread).

I'm eager to hear what Make Fuck sounds like.

Any rumours / news about a new Julian Cope record? I would like to.

Found this last night;

http://www.castlesinspace.com/?tag=julian-cope

Nothing as useful as an actual release date here but looks like it's happening (at this stage).
The tags would suggest it will be a triple gatefold, double green vinyl album but again (alas) that's all there is to go on for now.....
