I can relate to the Salt Lake City cancellation. When I visited some cats out in Colorado it felt like being on the moon. And as to the Texas cancellation, who wouldn't want to get out of there as quickly as possible? Dude will be on the great WTF Podcast tomorrow (or today) along with Richard Thompson. Should be interesting, as Marc Maron's musician interviews haven't gone all that well up to now (the John Cale one was a bit of a disaster): http://www.wtfpod.com/ I once shared a bus with Lemmy back from a summer fest. I'm almost certain that was during the period when he never changed his boots.

OK, that Lemmy WTF podcast was amazing. That joke he told at the end- I was worried it wasn't going anywhere, but it made me belly laugh. Didn't know about the diabetes and the gammy leg. It's a heavy burden being a rock n roll lifer. The speed alone must leave you as hollow as a drum. Hope he still manages to schlep around for many more years, but he sounds awfully tired.

He didn't sound too healthy at Glastonbury. Bless him.

I was there and everyone around me actually got pretty angry at Lemmy singing the Ace of Spade lyrics to Overkill. I guess I was the only one there who laughed. EDIT: Uh...needless to say, I was also a bit concerned...
