is an interview with Pere Ubu's David Thomas done with future director Jim Jarmusch in Cleveland in 1977.
BTW Jim Jarmusch was also in an interesting band, The Del Byzanteens who were good for at least one e.p. not sure about the lp which I've never heard.
I loved their A Girl's Imagination, wish i still had the e.p.

Haven't read it yet, but I'm hoping I get to see Jarmusch in a younger, gawkier mode before he became impenetrably cool.
The Del-Byzanteens are pretty wicked, actually. I got first turned onto them by hearing them in a Wim Wenders film, The State of Things. Wonder if he featured them on account of the director-connection, or because they were just a great New Wave band? You should definitely soulseek out the whole album.
I think there's footage of them performing on youtube somewhere. Let me dig it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBw9WBHz0cc Lol@Jarmusch's one-finger keyboarding.

Sounds like they could've been on New Wave Theater or something...
